Carrie Underwood honored the late Naomi Judd during her headlining Stagecoach performance on Saturday (April 30) at Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.

After a soaring performance of "Jesus, Take The Wheel," the Oklahoma native paid tribute to the late state music icon Naomi Judd, who is i one-half of the legendary country duo, The Judds.

The nautical chart-topping country hitmaker dedicated her performance of "Meet Yous Again" to the late Naomi Judd.

"This side by side song goes out to everybody whose e'er lost someone that they loved, which is everybody. I feel like that one of the few human experiences that we all share, but merely because the people that nosotros dearest are not here with usa does not mean that they are non hither with united states of america and that does non mean that yous will not see them again anytime," Underwood shared.

"If y'all guys are thinking about anybody, I want you to go your phones out, become a lighter out, anything that shines light, let's light upwardly this place in memory of all those that we miss. I know all of country music volition be lighting something upwardly for Ms. Naomi Judd," Underwood added.

She went on to sing the emotional tune in front of the massive crowd, who sparkled from the glow of their cell phone lights.

Naomi Judd, one one-half of the legendary land duo, The Judds, passed away on Saturday, April xxx, at the historic period of 76 from "the disease of mental illness," according to a statement shared by Wynonna and her sister Ashley Judd.

The unfortunate news comes just a week after Naomi Judd and Wynonna Judd reunited for a functioning of "Beloved Tin can Build A Bridge" at the2022 CMT Music Awards.

Underwood recently shared the music video for her chart-climbing unmarried, "Ghost Story." "Ghost Story" appears on Underwood's new album, Denim & Rhinestones, which is scheduled for release on June 10 via UMG Nashville. The project will feature 12-tracks, including the recently released melody, "Crazy Angels."

Additionally, the mother of two is gearing up to render to Resorts World Theatre for her jaw-dropping Las Vegas residency later this calendar month. Underwood's Las Vegas Residency, which kicked off in early December 2021, continues through May 21.
